Well, here we are again, half way through the FedEx Cup and only about four guys even have a remote shot at winning the $10 million, and if Vijay gets a 10,501-point lead over second place next time around, he can’t lose even if he DQs during the final...

Over the weekend, I had a wonderful idea for LPGA Commissioner Carolyn Bivens on how to resolve her issue with the 121 Foreign Players on her tour. My idea was to hire a great American Orator and Hall of Fame Golfer to teach the players his kind of English...

Re: LPGA English Only Policy
I enjoy reading your perspectives on the LPGA and its struggles to exist. I would like to hear more of your opinions on what the LPGA can do to get and keep this tour growing and increase its popularity. After attending 3 different women's pro events this past season, I have seen some examples of what I think clearly inhibit and "turn-off"...

Fall is in the Air...
I knew it was coming, and even though I am always excited for September to come, the first time I feel Fall in the air it never ceases to take me by surprise. Yesterday, not having not been outside since 6:30am, the cool breeze that hit me when I walked out the door almost stopped me in my tracks. It had been in the 80's over the holiday weekend...

Re: LPGA English Only Policy
Oh, they're talking about it, all right ... a quick search with your favorite engine will find many articles and forum references ... even in today's "gotta be PC" world, it still seems like we could have an open discussion on topics like this without it degrading into flaming and name-calling as I've seen in so many forums .....

Re: LPGA English Only Policy
Correct, but there's a problem that is bigger than the English and no one DAREs talk about it. NO ONE. Everyone knows what it is and I don't think there's a solution,. The result probably is that LPGA tour will lose much public interest over the coming years.
