As the industry leader in connecting athletes through various digital platforms, Nike Golf is continuing its forward stride with the launch of a new digital community -- The Grind.

Through www.nikegolf.eu., golfers will be able to join The Grind and connect with other golf athletes to ultimately improve their performance in the sport and attempt to answer the question, “Are you in golf shape?”

The Grind is a digital destination where golf athletes can share their golf journeys as it relates to their swings, their equipment, personal training and much more. Members of The Grind will have access to insider content from Nike Golf’s product innovators, Nike Golf athletes, non-Nike Golf athletes, Nike instructors and industry experts.

“We are excited to be able to take another step in doing what Nike does best – connecting with consumers,” said Mike Kelly, director of global brand marketing for Nike Golf. “Through The Grind, we are able to engage, connect with and inspire golfers. This is only the beginning of bigger things to come in Nike Golf’s new community. It is yet another example of how Nike Golf is the athletic golf brand of choice.”

The new Nike Golf community is a holistic approach that will inspire and guide golfers to improve their games at all levels:

To get in better golf shape, Nike athletes and athletic trainers will provide key personal training tips specific to the sport in the “Training” section on The Grind.
To see how their golf swings measure up, community members can upload their swings, compare them side by side to their friends and/or Nike Golf athletes and share on their facebook and twitter accounts.
To learn about the philosophy behind new technologies and designs, golf lovers will be able to get inside the fascinating minds of Nike Golf’s talented product engineers and designers.
To learn about equipment, consumers can share what’s in their bags while also staying on top of what equipment is in Nike Golf athletes’ bags. They can then upload what’s in their bags for their friends to see.

Bill Bowerman, the co-founder of Nike, Inc., said, “if you have a body, you are an athlete.” The Grind epitomises athletic golf.
