We're going with a new format for my golf tips: streaming video. Each week I'll be answering questions submitted by registered members of Tees2Greens.com about their golf swing or any other aspects of the game. You can either leave your question in the comment area below, or post it in the forums here.

Now, we may not get to all of you. But rest assured that each question will be reviewed. And if someone has already posted the same question you have, we still want to hear from you. The more times we see the same question, the more likely it is to be answered.

Oh, and be sure to subscribe to my blog to keep up with all of the new questions and answers first-hand. (To do this, look just below the keyword tags in the right-hand colum of this page.)

I'm a single digit handicapper with a continual problem of having difficulty getting the ball up in the air especially fairway woods. The solution I have been given is to move closer and put the ball up front with the right shoulder dropped. I seem to have trouble getting club down to the ball. With irons I frequently do not get much height nor leave a divot.

I am a 5 hdcp and pretty good at  green side bunker shots as long as they are flat or uphill lies.  Your article "Ten Very Useful Tips to get Out of a Bunker" has given me more confidence and improved my bunker shots. However, I am not very effective at down-hill lies.  I know they are harder and that may be the problem, but is there something different I should be doing?

Hi! Randy. Read your tips weekly. I have a question  --  in the

rules of golf is this legal : as to my new putting stroke ?

I take my normal putting stance --  eye the breaks etc. Say the

distance is about 10 feet I take my putter back a little over a

foot then ground the head on the greens surface  I then shift by

eyes on the track and spot where I'd like the ball to end up for

(a few seconds) and then I bring the putter ahead from its resting

spot still keeping my head and eyes steady ahead.  My putting has been vastly improved.     Is this  a legal stroke ?

Randy,

I am a 5 handicapper and would really like to hear from you the easy way to draw the ball with the driver.  I hit a slight fade with both Driver and irons, but never have been able to draw the ball when I need to.  Can you help?

Randy,

I saw your video regading sandwedges problem with getting the ball up in the air. You where talking about some tip he was getting about tilting his upper body. This caught my attention as my instructor has been saying to me to tilt just a tade or preload so that I don't have the lateral move on the backswing. You mentioned to just move the hips or pelvis to the left as I am a right handed golfer. I will have to try that the next time I am at the range. I want to play better golf and I am searching for any little tip that will help and I think in the video you just gave me one. Thank you for what you are doing with the videos and all.
