Let's discuss yet another way to get exactly what you want, the moment it goes live, from Tees2Greens: RSS.
Scenario 1: You don’t always receive our newsletter or, when you do, the links are dead or disabled. AOL and Hotmail users encounter this often. RSS is an excellent way to avoid this.
Scenario 2: You’d like to receive all of your favorite news headlines & entertainment articles into one place without having to browse all over the Internet to find them. We’re sure you’ve seen the orange chicklets (
) on other sites, too. So let's learn how to use them...
What is RSS? It stands for Really Simple Syndication and is nothing more than a feed that pushes news, articles, or forum posts directly to you the moment they’re posted to a website.
How do I use it? First, you'll need some sort of RSS "aggregator" or reader software. Some readers run on your desktop and behave much like common e-mail software, while others are Web-based. To add a new RSS feed, you simply click the RSS button, and copy that link into your RSS reader. From that point on, your reader will receive the newly published content the moment it goes live.
So anytime you see the orange chicklet, click it. You'll soon find that you're using RSS over email to receive content from your favorite online news & entertainment resources!
