It's December 1, and that means it's officially Christmas shopping time! Yippee! For some of us it's always shopping time, but sometimes during the holiday season you can find some pretty good deals out there. I was searching for a pair of FootJoy's that I got last winter and it brought me to several golf shopping web sites...I thought I would share with you some info on the sites in case you are shopping for golf gifts, or would like to send along web sites to your family or friends so they can get YOU something good! (Everyone is selling Pro-V's for $39.99 right now so if you need some check out the free shipping sites!)
http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/ (a Chipshot award winner!) - this site has some good deals out there, but often are closeout or older models so selection can be limited. They also run specials all the time so it's good to check back often to see what coupon codes are available - sometimes it's a discount on your whole purchase, freebies with purchase, or free shipping. Currently 15% off site wide.
http://www.3balls.com/ - right now there are some really good coupon codes on this site (click on the deal tab and then look on the right side) - free shipping on several items for a $50 or more purchase (shoes) or free shipping site wide (in the US) for purchases over $100...some really good deals out there and really great search options. 3balls also does a lot of Ebay auctions, so you might want to check that out before buying on the site.
http://www.austads.com/ - 15% off site wide (see restrictions) on December 1 only - shipping is $6.99. Okay sales, but nothing jumped out at me.
http://www.golfballs.com/ - offering free shipping over $75 in the US - haven't really found great prices there, but they do a ton of free personalization from balls to hats, so if you're looking for something special this might be the place! (they are also still doing their daily giveaway of a dozen Callaway black golf balls through 12/31)
http://www.discountgolfworld.com/ - free shipping on December 1 and $5 off any purchase of at least $30. Decent selection and some good sales.
http://www.tgw.com/ - $5 flat rate shipping - always have sales going on, but thought we might see some free shipping from them. (lowest price on the shoes I want so far!)
http://www.budgetgolf.net/ - another site I like - $5.99 flat rate shipping. Some decent closeout deals (but limited selections) and you get $15 gift card for spending $75 and $30 if you spend $150.
http://www.golfgalaxy.com/ - $4.99 flat rate shipping - a little disappointed with their sale items and limited selection on some items. (but I always stop at their store when I am in the Twin Cities!)
http://www.golfsmith.com/ - $5.99 flat rate shipping - some OK sales but no holiday specials yet.
http://www.carlsgolfland.com/ - free shipping over $75 (excludes Ping). My first visit to this site - it was a bit hard to navigate at first, but I found if you went to "manufacturers" on the left side you could find the most items. Some OK sales (on some shoes) but otherwise your general golf shop.
http://www.pgatourstop.com/ - free shipping over $75. Didn't find any great sales, but if you sign up for their mailing list I think you might get a $20 discount coupon code.
http://www.thegolfcollection.com/ - more of a golf gifts site...no shipping deals but a couple of neat items for the golfer who has most things. Might actually buy the golf cribbage board there.
http://www.edwinwattsgolf.com/ - $5.00 flat rate or $10 2-day air. Nothing really super sale wise but depending on what you are shopping for it might be worth a look.
http://www.pgasuperstore.com/ - $5.95 flat rate US - but a $5 handling fee for purchases less than $50. No super deals here either - some club closeouts that might be decent.
http://www.golfetail.com/ - nothing super so far on their site - no shipping deals and no coupon codes. They do have an email sign up that may get you some special pricing.
I'll be checking things out in the next few weeks since I'm going through golf withdrawal right now and if I find anything good, I'll let you know! Happy Shopping!!
