    Titleist Pro-V1...endangered?

I found this blurb in my latest Golf for Women magazine...

"Is the world's top-selling golf ball endangered?  Two Years ago, Callaway Golf filed nine patent-infringement claims against Acushnet Co. regarding the Pro V1's technology.  Last December, a jury in Delaware's US District Court ruled for Callaway in eight of the nine claims.  Appeals are a given, but you might want to stock up just in case." (page 26, March/April 2008)

    Yipes!!

I'm reminded of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine discovers they'll no longer be making her brand of sponge.

So after you stock up on Pro V1's, will only certain holes and courses be V1-worthy?  Wink

     That's funny!!  Big Smile

But I must admit I already do that - the Pro-V's usually come out when I really want to win a match or I'm in an event...it makes them feel special!  otherwise I'm playing So/Lo's or Callaways.
