Swing Update - How Are We Looking?

    Scott,

Here's a video of how things are looking. I'm feeling really good in this swing. The main things I seem to have to stay on top of every time I swing are:

    -Get balanced from the start
-keep the club take away low and slow as I shift weight to the right
    -Keep head still
-Initial down swing with left hip
-Again, keep head still (and back) -Let it ride

    How we looking?

All in all Scott, your advice has been a God-send these past few weeks. If only we had started this dialog 2 months ago!

Think I could send over some shots of the driver? My instincts are telling me set-up issues might be hampering things, like we saw with my 5iron at the start...

    Erik,

This is looking so much better.  I still see  the right hip moving too much to the right and up in the back swing.  Good news, there is an easy solution.  Be sure your right ankle and foot are vertically under your right knee and hip (limit any angle out away from your right hip).  Your left side is rising a little as a result in the follow through but the rotation through is really good.

As you  do this you will be able to feel the left arm staying closer to the left side of your chest through impact and follow through longer creating a tighter swing and much more consistent impact.

Definitley send pictures of the driver.  Send me this view and down the line view also.

Keep up the good work.  You are making very fast and fantastic progress!

    Scott
