2008 Verizon Heritage - Harbour Town Golf Links · Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Well we were certainly spoiled last weekend with the best tournament of the year the Masters! Unfortunately, for most of us we will have to wait until the Players Championship until another good event. Still the Heritage is a cool track and you will not see over powering length totally dominate. The guys who can place the ball and fight the wind will have the best chance. And every year it comes down to short game around this tricky course. I am going for Chad Campbell to have a good event to get geared up for the Byron Nelson, where it’s about time he wins that event. Also, Sean O'Hair and Ernie Els make my top three picks.

I love Harbour Town!  On the first computer I ever had (which was a long time ago!) I had a golf game where you got to play this course - I think I shot a 59 from the tips!  This tourney also has some good Greg Norman memories for me.  This is another course I'd like to see live and in person some day.  Hmmm, the field is a bit challenging this week, but I think I have a solid 3 - one of my new favorites, Brandt Snedecker (I'm going to choose to believe he's fired up about winning now and over his Masters hiccup), Stewart Cink (solid Masters finish), and Zach Johnson (I just like him!)...my theory is nice guys really do finish first!

And just for my records - I was tied at 5 & 5 - then Paddy gave me a 1 up lead - but my guys left me at the Shell and Campbell tied it up again...you took Tiger (by 4) in the Masters so I got the field and won, so I'm 1 up again.. 7-6-1.  I like being in the lead.
