2008 RBC Canadian Open - Glen Abbey GC, Oakville,Ontario, Can

There will be no way to top the Open last week....Greg Norman's great play and Paddy's unreal eagle to lock it. Its doesnt get any better, even Tiger could not have made it any better. Oh and dont forget the wind and that awful course. Municipal golf at its best!

This week does hold some intrigue as Jim Furyk goes for his 3rd Canadian Open in a row! I think it will be a cake walk for the past champion to pull this off after a very good British Open he will be ready to hammer this course 15 to 20 under par.

This one is over before it got started, but just think....next week we have Michelle Wie playing with the boys in Reno! I think I woud rather play roulette than bet on her chances of making the cut.

I was going to say, "finally a tournament north of me!", but when I did a quick google map of Oakville, ONT, it's acutally south of where I live.  Maybe I really am in Canada! Smile  Interesting field, and it's hard to look beyond Furyk, but Freddie's there, and I've got to root for Matt Kuchar.  Surprised to see Goosen in the field, too...I would like to see him win again.  And can you really root against Canada's own Weir?  Or Anthony Kim?  My guy for the week is going to be Bubba Watson.
